M102 is a galaxy lited in the Messier catalog that has yet to be identified unambiguously. The original discoverer Pierre Me'chain said that it was a duplicate observation of M101.

TELESCOPE:  Orion 100mm ED refractor @ F/9.

ISO SETTING:  800

EXPOSURES:  18

EXPOSURE LENGTH:  400sec.

TOTAL EXPOSURE LENGTH:  2hrs.

SUBTRACTIONS:  10 darkframes, 10 bias frames, 20 flat frames.
